Lego Castle Adventure

This past weekend, my parents came to visit and to go with us to see the Lego exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum. The exhibit was very well done even though it was geared more toward children than adults. We had a great time looking at all the Lego things they had built and watching the kids do the hands-on activities that were available.

The highlight of the exhibit was a recreation of Neuschwanstein Castle made completely out of Legos! Brian and I had visited the real castle in Germany (see the slideshows below for our pictures of it) and we were very excited to see this castle recreated in the exhibit! We took lots of pictures of it, but not all of them are on here because some were vertical and they don't flip in this slideshow program.

After seeing the exhibit and a bit of the rest of the museum, we went to the Henry Ford Estate and walked around the grounds. It was a gorgeous afternoon and my parents really enjoyed seeing this and can't wait to take a tour of the inside someday soon.

Enjoy the pictures!
